Triangle Heart Ball

Daniel and I have joined as volunteers with the American Heart Association for the Triangle Heart Ball in February of 2009. It is a black tie event where they have a silent auction and live auction of items people around the triangle have donated. The evening is called Venetian Carnival Unmask Your Heart's Desires. (explains the photo)

Examples: ACC tickets, Dance lessons, Cooking lessons from the chef at Red Room, Getaways to the beach or New York, wine, Designer handbags, Memberships to the museums, spa services....

All of the proceeds go to the American Heart Association. :)

If you know of anyone who would be willing to donate an item or their priceless time PLEASE let me know!!!!

Daniel's Birthday

We celebrated Daniel's first birthday as a married man on Saturday! :) He is now 25. We had a lot of fun. Last wednesday night we got to hang out with our Bible study group (Megan, Nate, Katie, Paul, Jenni, Andy, Marie & Chris) for D's bday. We ate at PeiWei and then played a little Pictionary and Catchphrase. I don't think I have laughed that hard in a LONG time. The night ended with watching Youtube videos. This explains the photo of us sitting around the laptop.

I wish I had taken more picture. I don't think I took even one picture on Daniel's actually birthday:( so not like me. But we had a great time and I can't believe we have almost been married for one year.

Summer is ending...

as sad as that is to say, we are now into September which means Fall will be here soon (YAY!). Anywhooo this summer has been so busy and so much fun. Here are a few pictures from our last beach trip and some other fun times with the fam.

So I handed Daniel the computer with the "NewPost" box open and everything and asked him to create our next post on our blog ( I know it's been a while, sorry). His exact words were...

Mom & Dad's House

A huge praise to the Lord that my parents are in the middle of finally selling their home this week. (They have been trying to sell since last year). Even though it will be sad for them not to live there any more, they will now be closer to us, in Raleigh!!!!

This summer I have started to make jewelry (earrings). I LOVE IT. I am having to pace my self though and not go crazy at the bead stores. HA... Daniel is having to help me with that! I have a shop online now that I would LOVE for you to visit. If you see anything you like let me know... also if you want me to create something specific for you please let me know. As I said this is a new site and much more will be added soon.
