I reopened my Etsy shop a few weeks back and have been having so much fun recreating charms, jewelry and canvases. Now that Eva Grace is a little older (can't believe she is almost 1!!!) I have a little more time to make things and it has been something I look forward to. Here are some of my canvases I have made. I love adding texture to them. I made my first couple of sales on etsy last week and I have to admit it was very exciting.

Adelyn's 3 Year Checkup
3 Years old... Really? What a huge blessing Adelyn is to us. I could go on and on about her funny quotes and sweet hugs, snuggles and kisses but for now I will just update her stats. She is growing so big and strong and we praise the Lord for her health. She is really in to Doc McStuffins right now so she loved her 3 year checkup and the fact that she wasn't due for any shots!
Height: 38.75 Inches
Weight: 37 lbs
I am pretty sure she was in the 90%. (So different from her sis :))
The Big Move
So recently we moved from Brier Creek to Wake Forest... Middle of August to be exact. We had been trying to sell our sweet two bedroom town home for 2 years off an on with no success. Once we had Eva Grace she was sleeping in our bedroom and we decided it was time to try again once she was out of the newborn stage. I could not picture myself preparing a home for showings with Adelyn and a 4 month old...but somehow we did it and our house was on the market for only a week I think. We had a ton of showings that one week and I remember for one showing taking all of the dirty dishes and other random things and throwing them in a tote bag in our car. It was craziness but we were so thankful it happened so quick that time. We spent the next few weeks packing and house hunting. We looked a few homes and THEN we saw our home in Heritage. We fell in love but tried not to get our hopes up. We looked at a few others houses to be sure this was the one. We made an offer and the Lord just smoothed out all of the little details. We were so excited but it didn't feel real yet that we would be moving our little family out of the first place that we had come home to after our honeymoon, Adelyn's first home, Eva's first home...so many memories. Both of our closings were on the same day and that went pretty smoothly as well. We praise the Lord for the opportunity to have a house now with a yard...and Eva has her own bedroom. Yay! We are still getting settled in but love it so far.
I didn't anticipate having a hard time with such a big transition. While I LOVE our new home, I have been going through a big transition. Going from working part time, still adjusting to having 2 kids and moving across town and everything is new. It has been hard but the Lord has carried me through and I know will continue to.
2 Corinthians 12:9
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
Our last morning in brier creek.
Last bath.
Jumping in the boxes.
Packing the truck.
Last picture after packing and cleaning. Sweaty and to say that I had been sobbing would be an understatement.
This picture was taken right after our closing.
Sweet Adelyn on our porch the night we moved in.
Picture of our home the first night.
Daniel and Adelyn feeding the fish in our back yard (the pond is no longer there because of the safety issue).
Daniel mowing our grass for the first time.
I will take more pictures of the inside and post soon.

Eva Grace 6 months
What a big (little) girl.:)
Weight: 14lbs 8 oz
Length:
You are super sweet. You love kisses, snuggles, and eating your toes. You love being with Mommy the best and I'm okay with that. You are starting to become better about letting other people hold you and play with you...more mellow. You love your sissy so much and constantly look for her and watch her. She makes you laugh the most. You love your bouncy seat that's hanging between the kitchen and living room. You can say "dada" and just last night, looked right at Daniel in the kitchen and said, "dada", but I think you are still figuring it out. You love being outside.
- still primarily breast feeding
- won't take a bottle ;) (Eva Diva)
- loving solid foods 2x day
- loving puffs and baby mums (7 months)
- sitting up (really well by 7 months)
- sleeping 8-9 hrs then eating, 7 months 10-11 hours
- teeth: bottom 2, (7 months top right and bottom right 3rd tooth popping through)
- naps well twice a day with paci, blanket and seahorse (stopped taking the dinner time nap at 6 months)
- by 7 months have only had a couple colds and a rash with fever (no ear infections or antibiotics)
