2014... We are back!

Well it's been over a year since we have updated this little blog. Feeling kind of frustrated about that...but at the same time we have had a lot going on. I will do a catch up here and then start fresh for 2014! Our family has ...

Celebrated Eva turning 1 & 2 and Adelyn turning 4!
Daniel and I celebrated our 6th anniversary and went on a trip this year (unlike last year) to Kiawah Island.
We got a puppy last February right around Eva's birthday. His name is Titus! There are days when I thought we made a horrible decision to be honest but when I see him with the girls we know it is a great thing. I love that little fur ball (most of the time).
Will celebrate 2 years in our new home in Wake Forest in August.
Found out our sweet Mema had ovarian cancer last summer and said goodbye to her in September. We praise the Lord for her life and that she was able to spend her last days at home with family. I miss her so bad it hurts, but we will see her again!!!
We have traveled to the Bahamas again and had many fun trips to the beach with our families. So blessed!
Joined a life class at church and have made friendships that we are so thankful for. LOVE our community group and we are thankful to the Lord for this provision.
I have still been creating jewelry on etsy. Layla Ave. I love it and it has provided for our family in small ways that I never expected.
I retired from doing princess parties recently (more on that to come) but continue to still work at Raleigh Ophthalmology on Fridays. The girls love their Fridays with Nana.
Daniel is still with FCB and recently was promoted and moved to the North Ridge location!!! Love how he has been blessed by FCB and love that he is now closer to home.
We found out in November that we are pregnant with number 3!!! Due date July 19, 2014. Girl #3!

We are so blessed by everything that has happened over the past year. There have been trials and rejoicing but we know that He is faithful to grow us and provide.

Philippians 4:19
And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Jesus Christ.

Daniel (turning 31 in September), Lauren (31, 32 weeks pregnant), Adelyn (4.5 years old), Eva (2 years old).

Sisters

I can't believe how big they look here. They had both just woken up from their naps and were eating a snack while watching peppa pig.

Some of my Favorite Girls

We went out recently on my Mama's birthday to celebrate her. These girls do love their Nana.

Milk

I saw this at World Market and loved the style of it and then I read it and laughed. As a Mom that has nursed 2 girls for almost 12 months each I feel like I should hang this in my house. hahaha

Water Break

Adelyn has started Soccer!!! Can you hear Daniel cheering through your computer/phone/ipad? She has taken ballet for almost 2 seasons now and we have always said we want her to try sports too. She was very interested in trying soccer so we signed her up for a Saturday morning class at the factory so that Daniel could join us. It's 50 minutes of running, games, learning to kick the soccer ball, and learning to listen to the coaches. She loves it but I do have to tell you her favorite part. As a girl myself I totally understood this. She told Daniel and Me after her first practice that her favorite part was when they all got in a circle, put their hands in and yelled, "WATER BREAK"..... I laughed so hard.

Oh my little ballerina.

Skinny Jeans

I saw this on Pinterest I think and just had to share because it makes me laugh. SO true.

That Smile

Can't believe how big this girl is. This is her normal spot on the sofa where she drinks her milk every single morning as soon as her eyes are open. It's like her coffee. This picture in particular is when we were sharing hot chocolate after playing out in the snow. So, no she doesn't normally drink out of a mug on the sofa. ha
