Daniel's HS Reunion!

Poor thing...it was so hot. You can tell by her cheeks she was so hot, but sooo happy (as usual). She is the best, most fun baby. Our bond is becoming stronger everyday. I love that she reacts and responds more and more as she learns. It's so fun beginning to feel a two way relationship with her.

Symphony & Father's Day

Last weekend we took Adelyn and our friends Seth and Anna to the symphony at the Koka Booth Amphitheater. Lots of fun! Adelyn took a little snooze to the sounds of the symphony.

We had so much fun celebrating Daniel's first Father's Day. We spent the weekend in Lincolnton with Daniel's family and celebrated with my family Sunday night. Addie is really getting good at saying "DaDa" which was perfect for Father's Day. :)

We have a thumb sucker..

Adelyn can't decide if she wants her thumb or a paci. It really is about 50%. We can tell when she is tired cause she will rub her eyes and pop her thumb in her mouth...but when we lay her down in her crib if she isn't already half asleep she wants her paci. :) It's so interesting. So our plan is to get rid of paci at 1 year and I hope that doesn't push her to use her thumb more and then we have the issue of getting her to stop sucking her thumb when she is 5. haha

Oh and for some reason she loves sucking her thumb when she is eating...ugh. Makes for a great mess. I try to get her to stop, but it's really difficult.

Crawling June 5th

Addie is 7 months old and now she is crawling! It started with her getting up on her arms and legs and she would try to lean forward and then sit back down because she didn't know what to do with herself. Saturday we were dropping her off at Kellie's house to go on a date and she was on the rug with Zoe and started making 3 to 4 moves forward...from there she has just been perfecting her skills. Now that she realizes she can move...she gets so excited.

She is already getting to fast (as you can see in the video below). I need to get the baby gate up at our stairs! :)

Peek a Boo

Addie played peek a boo for the first time on Tuesday. She had been in the car for almost 3 hours on the way back from the beach and had enough of it! She was getting sleepy and started to play peek a boo with me. Soooo precious.
